Women’s not safe at home too in 21^st century 

 

Domestic violence is still a big issue in our city. According to report by Women 

Aid there is 60% increase in record of domestic violence. Chandra Bai said that 

her husband is worker at construction site he hardly earn 200rs a day and spent it

 on beer so she had to work as maid at many places so that she can take care of 

her family and children but her husband don’t want her to work n make always 

big trouble to her whenever she is on work . He beats her as she don’t listen him n 

is still working. She futher says that I don’t feel safe at home as I have to be with 

him and I feel more safe outside as there is no worry of him. She cant file FIR due to society.
